Orson Welles, Monaco, 1966

$800.00

Monte Carlo, Monaco, 1966

Archival pigment print, printed 2025 · Edition of 25

Printed from the photographer's original negative.

Orson Welles photographed in Monaco during the Grand Prix week, 1966. My father knew him through shared social circles in Europe and had photographed him before. This is not a portrait session. It's a quiet moment, a large man at a small table, caught mid-thought. The blinds behind him cut the light into something almost cinematic, which feels appropriate. He couldn't help it.

Limited edition archival prints made from the original negatives. Edition of 25.
